We're a small team of young professionals living the same busy lives as everyone else — jobs, families, community involvement. Over time we noticed how often we were forgetting to pay people back — or not getting paid back by people who genuinely meant to. We knew something had to be done.

We figured there had to be a better way than awkward texts and half-remembered IOUs — something that keeps track for you, reminds gently instead of nagging, and works whether you're one friend paying another back, splitting a large bill after a family dinner, or a shul treasurer collecting from two hundred people.

So we built PayChaver: a tool we wanted for ourselves, made for anyone who'd rather keep their word than keep track in their head.
