Is it free?

Yes. PayChaver is free to use — no subscription, no fee taken out of what you send or collect.

Is it safe and secure?

PayChaver never touches your money — it's the reminder layer that sits on top of Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle, and the actual payment always happens on those platforms directly. We only store what we need to send a friendly nudge on your behalf: names, amounts, and contact info, nothing more.

Will PayChaver make me a more responsible friend?

We can't promise your character arc, but we can promise you'll stop forgetting. What you do with that newfound reliability is between you and your chaverim.

Does the person I'm requesting need to download anything?

No. Requests and reminders land by email, text, or WhatsApp, and the other person can pay you through whichever app they already use — no PayChaver account required on their end.

Which payment apps does it work with?

Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle today, with more on the way. PayChaver just points to whichever one you and the other person already use.

Is PayChaver only for individuals, or can a group or shul use it?

Both. It works the same one-on-one as it does for a chaburah collecting dues or a shul treasurer following up on pledges — split it, bulk-request it, or set up a payment plan, whatever fits.

What if someone just doesn't pay?

PayChaver keeps the reminder going gently on the schedule you set, so nothing quietly falls through the cracks — but we're a nudge, not a collections agency. The ask stays as friendly as the day you sent it.
